CHALLENGE COUNSELORS

Kelli Hunter is a first year Biology major from Americus, Georgia.  Kelli is interested in pursuing a career in medicine.  She enjoys watching television, shopping with friends, reading, and volunteer work.  During her first year at Tech, Kelli became a member of the African-American Student Union and the club tennis team.  After Tech, Kelli plans on attending medical school.
Michael Reed is a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering major from Atlanta, Ga. He enjoys watching movies, playing sports, and having a good time with friends. While here at Georgia Tech, he stresses the importance of becoming involved on campus and giving back to the community in order to fully enhance your undergraduate experience. He currently is the treasurer for the African American Student Union, Vice-President for the Delta Kappa Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and an active member in the Georgia Tech chapters of the National Society of Black Engineers and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He eventually wants to get an MBA in Business Administration after he completes his receives undergraduate degree.
Joshua Wilkerson is a 3rd year Electrical Engineering student from Atlanta, Georgia.  He graduated from Chamblee High School in 2005.  Joshua is a jazz musician who while in high school recorded a cd with his jazz band.  Joshua is also the President of the African American Student Union (AASU) for the 2007-2008 year.  He enjoys listening and playing music, watching sports, reading, and just relaxing when he doesn’t have too much work to do.
Niquelle Brown is a 4th year Industrial and Systems Engineering major from Stone Mountain, GA. Niquelle was a participant in the Challenge program, and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Niquelle is a member of several campus organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Niquelle is a research assistant in the Industrial Engineering department, and a Community Advisor for the Housing Department. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and going out with friends.
KaNisa Williams is a fourth year student who will receive a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, and Culture this August.  During her time at Tech, she has served as the President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Vice President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and was a nationally recognized Telecommunications Chair for the Georgia Tech Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. She currently serves as the President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council which oversees the 8 Historically Black Greek Organizations on Georgia Tech Campus. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, mentoring area high school students, and maintaining her own freelance design service.
Alendria Prioleau is a 4th year Industrial Engineering student from Chesapeake, VA.  She co-ops with UPS Supply Chain Solutions as a Transportation Solutions Engineer Intern.  Alendria is also an executive board member of the Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers and the American Red Cross Club at Georgia Tech.  She enjoys ballroom and salsa dancing and playing the piano and flute.
Wynton Montgomery is a 4th year Industrial Engineering major from Bellwood, Illinois.  He went to Chattahoochee High School in Alpharetta, Georgia.  He has recently become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  He enjoys playing basketball and playing the piano.  He also enjoys socializing with his friends, playing football, and going to the studio to make music.
Randall Wilson is a 3rd-year Architecture major from Stone Mountain, Georgia, by way of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He currently is a member of the African American Student Union (AASU), National Organization for Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), and Minority Recruitment Team (MRT). He is also the captain of the intramural bowling team N.A.T.O. In his spare time, he likes to enjoy many of Georgia Tech's student programs, as well as playing basketball and cards. Randall's interests include bowling, LEGOs, and watching movies.

Brandon Walker is a 4th year Engineering Development in International Affairs major from Augusta, Georgia. Brandon is a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta program as well as a mentor at the New Schools of Carver. He is a fall 2005 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and the current "Afric@Tech" Awareness Series coordinator for the Georgia Tech Initiative for Development and Education in Africa (GT-IDEA). Brandon has worked with the NAACP International Affairs Advocacy division focusing on activism efforts for the genocide in Darfur as well as with the Fulton County voter registration office as a Deputy Registrar. Upon graduation Brandon hopes to volunteer with the Peace Corps and work as an ambassador to the United Nations.
